Gifts in Kind

Gifts in Kind Thank you Audrey Rippingale, owner of She Works She Plays, for the generous donation of women's fit work wear to our female students in trades.

Do you have a valuable collection of books or tools? Are you able to donate equipment or other materials that North Island College could use? If so, you could make a gift-in-kind donation.

Donations of equipment, materials or other supplies provide tangible support for students and programs. Goods such as tools, lumber, car engines, medical supplies, technology, books and others are of great value and eligible for the same kinds of tax benefits and recognition as other gifts to the college.

Gifts-in-kind must be assessed before a charitable receipt can be issued for current fair market value. Initial arrangement for gifts-in-kind are made through the NIC Foundation to ensure the donation is acceptable and will benefit learning.
