Under Lou’s leadership, NIC expanded its nursing program to a four-year degree, created fine arts degree partnerships, launched BC’s first applied business degree as well as a professional cook program and many major physical expansions.

As the longest serving president at NIC, Dr. Lou Dryden inspired excellence and contributed to student success on many levels. Dedicated to advancing student success, he established an endowment fund that supports students with financial need from single parent homes. If you would like to help continue Lou’s legacy, visit our donation page or contact us. Donations will be directed to the Dr. Lou Dryden Student Success endowment fund.

The NIC Foundation is a registered charity (# 89050 5043 RR 0001). Tax receipts for gifts of cash over $20 will be issued to donors for the full value of their donation.
