Julie Field

Julie Field has called Vancouver Island her home since 1995 when she achieved her dream of living on the West Coast of Canada and relocated from Southwestern Ontario directly to Port Alberni. Her career in the financial industry has allowed her to get close to the community and stay in sync with what matters to individuals and how life events can impact their financial decisions. Julie moved into a leadership role in 2007 and has contributed to the communities of the Comox Valley and Oceanside (Parksville/Qualicum). She now has relocated back to beautiful Port Alberni. Julie has experienced being a caregiver to aging and terminally ill parents, caregiving from a distance and is currently caregiving for her elderly mother-in-law who resides with her and her husband in Port Alberni. She and her husband enjoy their motorcycles all summer long, taking Vancouver Island trips regularly with friends visiting local communities, never missing the annual Port Alberni Toy Run in September. Julie believes that we all learn every day, as long we truly listen.
