Build for the Future

The Dr. Lou Dryden Trades Training Atrium was built in 2011 at NIC's Comox Valley campus giving our North Island residents local access to one of BC's best-equipped training facilities.

North Island College is more than a beautiful place to learn. With deep roots in each community we serve, NIC is working closely with industry and businesses to create flexible and innovative learning solutions that meet the needs of local employers. With new investment, the NIC Foundation can ensure that our more than 9,000 students across the region have access to modern, accessible campus facilities, with leading-edge classrooms, laboratories and collaboration spaces. Together, we can help our youth, individuals and families stay, live and work locally.

You can help build exceptional facilities for students by:

  • Naming a building as a corporate sponsor or in honour or in memory of a loved one.
  • Leaving a legacy for future generations with a bequest designated to support local campus development.
  • Helping grow our campuses by supporting our priority projects, which will serve the next generation of youth and families in our NIC communities.
