Lisa Moyes

"I believe strongly that ALL students deserve the opportunity to further their education regardless of their financial situation. It is my hope that through the NIC Foundation, we can help remove the financial obstacles that otherwise block a student from pursuing a post-secondary education."

Lisa Moyes has been the co-owner of the Blackfin Pub in Comox for 10 years. While she is a strong supporter of many nonprofit societies in the Comox Valley, the NIC Foundation is closest to her heart. Lisa works directly with her staff and NIC in hosting annual fundraising events to further create greater awareness of the NIC Foundation and its goals. With two children now in post secondary, she has for many years been actively involved in her community with Pantuso Dance, Comox Valley Minor Hockey, Compass Adventures, track & field and skiing. An advocate for post-secondary education, fitness, health and wellness, Lisa brings valuable energy and passion to the Foundation Board.
