Jonathan Cross, Vice Chair

"Having had the benefit of grants and scholarships to complete five years of post-secondary education myself, it is only now as a business owner and father that I understand how fortunate I was. I hope that through our work with the Foundation others will have similar opportunities and that they will look back on as being positively life changing."

A career Hotelier Jonathan calls Vancouver Island home where he is the Owner Operator of The Hospitality Inn in Port Alberni. During his 20 plus years as a hotel manager, he has worked in London and Kent in the United Kingdom before immigrating to Canada with stops in Banff, Yellowknife, Iqaluit and Courtenay. Jonathan has served on numerous Industry Associations and currently serves as Chair of Alberni Valley Tourism, Vice Chair of the NIC Foundation and Vice President of the BC Hotel Association.
