Nicole Deters

Nicole Deters is a Professional Financial Planner, Licensed Investment Advisor and Insurance Agent with nearly three decades of diverse finance industry experience on Vancouver Island. She is a principal of Gilman Deters Private Wealth and partner of both Harbourfront Wealth Management and Harbourfront Wealth America.

She was raised in the small Finnish fishing village of Sointula and understands the economic and geographical challenges that young people living on the North Island face when considering furthering their education. Nicole is a promoter of lifelong learning; herself currently enrolled in an Estate and Trust designation program through the Canadian Securities Institute.

In her professional career, her focus has been to work with affluent and high-net-worth clients whose complexities warrant integrated, multilayered approaches to risk and wealth management. It is through this estate preservation and trust management process that Nicole has had the opportunity to introduce numerous legacy giving donors to charities such as the NIC Foundation. When not engaged in professional or community work, Nicole enjoys horseback riding, swimming, paddle boarding and downhill skiing.
