Sarah Witherow

Born and raised in Ontario in a family that deeply valued education, Sarah Witherow grew up watching her mother dedicate her career to public education - a foundation that instilled in her a lifelong respect for learning, community contribution, and the role that education plays in shaping lives.

Today, Sarah is a Chartered Professional Accountant supporting clients across aquaculture, agriculture, and several other sectors. Her work focuses on providing compliance and advisory services that keep businesses on track and position them for long-term growth and resilience. She is passionate about building strong relationships and feels privileged to accompany clients on their journeys.

Sarah brings a blend of industry knowledge, technical expertise, and a people-centered approach to her work and to the boards she serves. She currently sits on the Comox Valley Snow to Surf Society Board, which brings an annual multi-sport relay race to the Comox Valley community. Contributing to this event has reinforced her belief in the power of community engagement and collaborative leadership.

Outside the office, Sarah can often be found outdoors training for triathlons and marathons she has sworn (more than once) she would never do again. Motivated, collaborative, and community-minded, she is grateful for the chance to contribute to the North Island College Foundation Board of Directors and support its ongoing commitment to education and opportunity.
